Rowdy Rathore is an upcoming Bollywood action thriller film directed by Prabhudheva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. The film features Akshay Kumar in double role opposite Sonakshi Sinha. It began filming on 10 August 2011, and is scheduled for release on 1 June 2012. The film is a remake of Telugu film Vikramarkudu. It will mark the return of Akshay Kumar in the action genre after 4 years. The trailer of the film revealed on second April and records over 7 lakh views on youtube. Rowdy Rathore satellite rights sold for 45 crores.
